This is my corner of the internet.
Connecting the dots between business, humans, and the business of being human.
01 — Why I write
I’ve spent years watching markets from five seats: research, broking, an exchange, a bank treasury, and surveillance. Somewhere along the way, I noticed that charts tell only half the story.
The other half was somewhere else: a shift in the market, a change in the narrative, an order that looked fine—until it didn’t.
So I kept notes. Too many, in too many apps. This is where the good ones live now.
You’re welcome to read along. No pop-ups. No course to sell. Just making sense of things that don’t usually make sense.
The writing ecosystem
Quick notes, market interpretation, investment theses, and essays on behaviour. Each follows a different question.
Loose observations, useful fragments, and ideas caught before they settle into an essay.
Wander through the notes ↗ 02 / MARKET SIGNALClear-eyed market commentary: what moved, what drove it, and what deserves your attention.
Read the market notes ↗ 03 / INVESTMENT THESISInvestment cases built from evidence, with the risks and the reasons the thesis could fail in view.
Open the casebook ↗ 04 / HUMAN CONDITIONConsidered essays on behaviour, business, and culture—and the human patterns connecting them.
Read the essays ↗03 — About
I studied at the National Institute of Securities Markets before starting on an asset manager’s research desk. Since then, I’ve seen markets from several vantage points: through brokerage clients, exchange trading, bank treasury, and compliance. Each move changed what I noticed… and made me more curious about what the numbers leave out.
That curiosity led me to behavioural science through courses and programmes at Duke University, IIM Bangalore, the World Bank, and Ogilvy. The questions I follow are simple: What does the business do? What drives its decisions? What would change the story?
Some questions stay in Field Notes. Others become market commentary, investment cases, and essays on the forces shaping everyday life.
Numbers explain what happened.
The story explains why.

Forex, bonds, hedging… the Big Short stuff, minus the glamour.
A front-row seat to how traders behave when real money is on the line.
The market through the client’s eyes.
Where the “but why?” habit began.
